Robyn Gribble, Instructor, Choreographer Instructor/Choreographer Robyn Richards-Gribble trained extensively at the Torrington School of Ballet, American Ballet School, American Ballet Theater, and North Carolina School of the Arts. Her teachers included Sharon Dante; Marti Masters; Edward Villella; Carol Sumner, former soloist of the New York City Ballet; and Erling Sunde, former ballet master for the Royal Ballet. She attended United States International University on both talent and academic scholarships. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, Robyn joined American Festival Ballet and toured the northwest as a soloist. She has also danced with Spartanburg Ballet Company and has done guest appearances with San Diego Opera Company and San Diego Ballet Company. Roles have included lead fairy in "Cinderella," "Valse Fantasy," sister in "Beaches," Spanish in "The Nutcracker," and spirit from "Firebird." Robyn also performed in numerous plays and musicals that include the role of Helen in "The Miracle Worker," and Louise in "Carousel." In addition to her ballet training, Robyn studied jazz, lyrical, modern, and tap. She has attended many conventions, workshops, and master classes as well as attended classes in New York at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway as part of her continuing dance education. Robyn has choreographed and taught classes to all levels and ages. Her competition pieces have won both regional and national recognition, and her performance pieces have delighted local audiences. Robyn and her husband Greg have three daughters, Chelsea, Alyssa, and Tori, all whom dance. |

Brittany Zorn, Instructor, Choreographer, Competition Account Manager Brittany grew up dancing the Steps 'N Motion way, starting with us as just a little one. She began competition dance at age 4 and has studied and competed jazz, tap, ballet, and lyrical. Over the years Brittany has had the opportunity to perform with Dance Excellence in Los Angeles, CA; the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, GA; as well as Disney World and Disneyland. Brittany has traveled extensively to study with master teachers such as Henry LaTange, Lynn Schwab, Denise Wall, Mark Goodman, and Mike Minery. Brittany was a founding member of Dance Etc. / The Company, a service-oriented performance company for the pre-professional dancer. Dance Etc. offered Brittany the opportunity to give back to the community by performing at retirement and nursing homes, schools, festivals, and Center City events. Now married and a mother of two, Brittany loves to spend her free time at the studio and truly enjoys sharing her passion and love of dance with students and parents alike. |

Brenna Hodge, Instructor, Choreographer Brenna is no stranger to the stage as she began performing at the age of three! She grew up dancing with her mother who owned and operated two dancing schools in upstate South Carolina. With over 20 years of dance experience, Brenna has had the opportunity to pursue many avenues with dance. At age 9, she performed with the Furman University Dance Team; and she has performed at all different kinds of community events throughout upstate SC. She has performed in and acted as co-choreographer in two different productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. For the last 7 years, Brenna has been on staff at Steps 'N Motion. She has won many choreography and entertaining awards both regionally and nationally. Her most recent groups were Grand Champions at The Big Show at the Nexstar National Dance Competition in Pigeon Forge, TN. Brenna has taken many workshops from teachers throughout the United States including Brian Friedman, Mike Minery, Savion Glover, Rapshody, Doug Caldwell, Sheila Barker, and Dena Rizzo (who has been a hip hop mentor to Brenna!) Brenna takes trips to NYC each summer to learn and improve her training and technique. She loves her students at Steps 'N Motion and considers it a privilege to have the opportunity to work with them each day! |

Katie Ragusin, Instructor Katie Ragusin is 21 years old and started dancing at the age of three at Steps 'N Motion. She danced and competed with Steps 'N Motion until age 18. While a member of the Steps 'N Motion competition team, Katie performed on cruise ships and danced at Dance Excellence in California. At age 14, she was asked to perform as part of the Dance Excellence company with other dancers from around the country and overseas. Katie was the youngest Steps 'N Motion student to perform at the Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. She has taken classes at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center in New York City and was a founding member of Dance Etc. / The Company, a service-oriented performing arts company. In addition to teaching at Steps 'N Motion, Katie is exploring a career in interior design. |

Abbie Steele, Instructor At three years old, Abbie began taking dance lessons from D&S Talent in Monroe, North Carolina. As a member of the mini and junior competition teams, she performed at area competitions, churches, schools, festivals, and pageants. At twelve, Abbie began dancing at Steps 'N Motion; and with the Steps competition teams, she has performed in many regional and national competitions. As a member of Dance Etc. / The Company, a non-profit performing arts company, Abbie performed at retirement homes, schools, and community events throughout the area. The members of the company also gave their time and talent to raise money for the Arthritis Foundation and served as dance mentors at Jackson Park Ministries in Charlotte. While in high school, Abbie modeled for Lebo's dance catalogs. After graduation in 2004, Abbie began teaching tap, jazz, ballet, and hip hop at Steps 'N Motion. She attends UNC-Charlotte as a history major. Abbie continues to study dance with master teachers and artists in New York, Atlanta, and Myrtle Beach. |
