Lorrie Baines Cavanaugh
Instructor/Choreographer

Lorrie Cavanaugh grew up training at The Southern Strutt in Columbia, South Carolina and has studied and performed extensively in Los Angeles but is now happy to be a part of the Charlotte, North Carolina dance community. Her professional work includes the films, “Coyote Ugly,”  “Man on the Moon,” and “The Flintstones.”  She has appeared on numerous television and stage shows such as “The Grammy Awards,” “Scrubs,” “Mad About You,” “VH1 Music Awards,” as well as Disney.  She has also had the pleasure of working with great music artists like, Bjork, Smashmouth and Britney Spears.  As a featured dancer you can find her in “CVS”, “Universal Studios” and “Dr. Pepper” commercials. Lorrie has been teaching competitive dancers in Los Angeles for the past ten years where her students have won numerous awards at nationwide competitions.  Among these she has been recognized for her original concepts and choreography.  Lorrie joined Steps 'N Motion in 2009.
