Our classes have a strict enrollment limit to ensure intimate class size and appropriate student/teacher ratios.

The Steps staff follows a standard curriculum with all classes. This allows for comfortable transition when students need to transfer class, make-up class, or are assigned a new teacher in a new dance year.

The Steps staff is a family of professional, energetic people who are passionate about dance and teaching! We're proud to say that each of our teachers work with all levels and programs. We do not reserve certain teachers for the competition team, the same teachers who train our nationally recognized Company work with our recreational students! It is our philosophy that no matter if a student is training pre-professionally or just coming for some fun, everyone deserves the same quality dance instruction.

While Steps implements a standardized curriculum, progress is on an individual level. We're happy to know and recognize each dancer as an individual! Steps teachers take the time to understand how each child learns individually, as well as, how each class learns as a whole to tailor their class experience to suit specific needs.

Professional show

The annual Steps N Motion Revue is a second to none, professional show. Each years' show has a theme and is held at a Ovens Auditorium with the same union stage hands, professional lighting, scenery, and sound systems found at all the touring broadway shows that grace Ovens Auditorium!

Each dancer is personally recognized for their dedication to dance at the end of the year during Parent Observation and Awards week. Every dancer receives a personalized certificate of achievement! In addition, our first and second year female dancers receive a special dance pin while our first and second year male dancers receive a medal! Beginning with each dancer's third year of training, students receive a personalized trophy for the completion of each year of dance. Steps dancers reaching the milestone of 5, 10, and 15 years of training and commitment are presented with their trophy on stage at the year end revue!
