DANCE PREVIEW

This 30 minute weekly class for ages 2 - 2 1/2 will explore basic dance through creative movement and magical music. Pre-ballet and tumbling will enhance natural movement abilities and build coordination skills. Creative and imaginative stories will encourage self-expression and self-confidence. Students will not participate in the Dance Recital in June but will have a "Preview Presentation" of their own at the studio in May.

READY SET ACRO

This class is specifically designed for preschoolers as an introduction to tumbling and acrobatics. The program was developed by the industry leader, Acrobatic Arts, along with childhood education and development specialists. It emphasizes safe and effective progressions to foster the physical and social skills needed for healthy early childhood development. The class will focus on 3 main components: Stretch, Strength, and (Acro/Tumbling) Skills.

FUNKY TOTS

Designed specifically for our littlest future hip hop dancers. Dancers will work on their core strength, gross motor skills, coordination, and learn the basic hip hop technique combined with both basic jazz and ballet skills to give our dancers a well rounded dance experience. Hair must be secured away from the dancers face.

PRE-BALLET

Ballet is the basis of ALL dance forms and provides dancers with strength, balance, control, and flexibility. These classes are offered to students interested in a ballet only class or interested in enhancing their dance school curriculum. This class is typically for 3-4 year olds.

BEGINNER 1

The beginner level provides ballet basics and tap and is sure to inspire and captivate the imagination of our young students. Special dance days with Angelina Ballerina, Wild Things, and Cat In The Hat (just to name a few) will enable dancers to explore movement and music while developing coordination, self-confidence, rhythm, and fundamental dance skills.

BEGINNER 2

The beginner level provides ballet basics and tap and is sure to inspire and captivate the imagination of our young students. Pom combines jazz technique including flexibility, turns, & jumps with a skill set of sharp motions & high energy performance to create dynamic and visual routines. This class is made up of a warm up with cardio, strength & stretch plus jazz technique & tricks, and combinations/choreography. This is an excellent supplemental class for kids on school dance team or those who would like to try out for a dance team in the future.

Intermediate classes continue to lead the dancer to a more intricate level of technique improving upper body strength while working to develop more refined lines and body placement. More advanced combinations are taught for improving discipline and flexibility. This class is designed for the student who has an eager imagination and a desire to build on abstract and creative challenges through choreography and music. This dance level offers high-energy classes that encourage physical activity!

INTERMEDIATE HIP HOP

Our hip-hop programs provide a high energy class for these fast moving dancers! Dancers can learn the latest hip-hop moves and technique while promoting physical agility and fitness.
